5/6/2023 0 Comments Cinema 4d merge objects![]() ![]() Before adding textures and lighting, I created some text. Primitives>Plane.Ĭhanging the length and width of the plane, (I used 2000 by 8000). I did the same as before and grouped these individual objects to make them one object. I copied and pasted this object until I had 10, and then position them into the shape of formation of bowling pins. In the object manager, I moved the spline (pin outline) into the Lathe to create the 3D object. Then, I turned the Axis selection tool off, and created a Lathe. In the coordinates tab, I changed the Axis centre of X to 0. Changing the ViewPort to front view, I enabled Axis option. To create this into a 3D object, I need to make sure the anchor point is in the centre of the object. This imported the outline of the bowling pin. From the Object Manager I selected File>Merge Object. ![]() Array Tab>Boule placing the bowling ball and the holes into the Boule object. In order to create these holes inwards and not outwards I created a Boule. I selected the 3 Capsules and connected the objects as a Null object, meaning they’re now classed as 1 object. ![]() I copied and pasted the Capsule to create 3 Capsules, and then moved them into the position of the bowling ball holes. In the coordinates tab, I rotated the pitch angle of the Capsule 90degrees and moved the Capsule to the left side of the Sphere, with half of the Capsule sticking out of the Sphere. In the object tab for the Capsule, I changed the radius to 40 and the height to 250. Primitives>Capsule, this will create a capsule that will be used to create the holes in the bowling ball. ![]() The ViewPort is located next to the rotate camera tool in the top right of the workspace. I changed the view from Perspective to Front, using the ViewPort. I then changed the radius t0 250cm and the number of segments to 48 and the type to Octahedron in the object tab. Primitives>Sphere.ĭisplay mode>Gourand Shading (lines), this will show the Polygons that the Sphere is made up of. I first changed the composition size Render>Edit Render Setting.Īfter this, I created a sphere. This opens Cinema 4D through After Effects. ![]()
